“This was not a problem with the tabulation of the actual results, but a problem of them not translating to a web format,” said Democratic Elections Commissioner Dustin Czarny.
It was the voting machines transferring results into computers with the vendor system that caused the issue.
When we tried to upload our early voting results, the vendor system crashed. This was our first time doing it. Instead of uploading a couple of different election districts at a time, we were uploading 429 election districts twice, once for early voting and for regular results,” said Czarny.
