Dustin Czarny, the Democratic elections commissioner for the Onondaga County Board of Elections, noted that voters frequently mistake the board as the agency in charge of sign cleanup.
“They associate the Board of Elections with everything political and lawn signs are not something we enforce or control,” Cznarny said.
